Ayurveda Basis for Physicians - Concepts and Factors of Disease

This Ayurveda basic course is the foundation of any medical-therapeutic oriented training at the European Academy of Ayurveda. This module is especially designed for medical practitioners and focuses on the use of Ayurveda in European (medical) practices....

The seminar gives an overview of the Ayurvedic teachings. You will get to know Ayurveda from its classical side and will be introduced to ancient Indian thought.

By means of a wealth of examples, the basic course establishes the practical reference to our life situation and points out outdated concepts in our everyday life. Besides the theoretical basics, the seminar also offers important practical information. Thus, you will learn the Ayurvedic determination of constitution, health-preserving measures and get an introduction to diagnostic procedures and food science.

The basic course for physicians contains additional content that addresses the integration of Ayurveda into modern medicine.
