Nuh Pariksha - ayurvedic hand and nail diagnosis

Recognize Dosha disorders and aging processes in the hand and nails

Nuh-Pariksha, the diagnosis of the fingernails is a traditional method from the eight-fold Ayurvedic examination (Ashta-Vidha Pariksha) to identify individual disease factors and stages. It involves a close examination of the nails in terms of their shape and structure to diagnose the condition of the doshas , dhatus and organs.
Especially the aging process, degeneration and metabolic problems can be very well recognized and treated by the analysis of white spots, brittle or split nails as well as yellowish, bluish or pale coloring of the nails.
Because each nail changes as we age and reflects the natural Vata processes that determine physical renewal or degeneration. The aim of this practical seminar is to recognise these and to develop suitable Ayurvedic strategies for balancing them.
