Study Ayurveda at universities in the country of origin

The study tour on Ayurvedic dietetics and phytotherapy takes place under the guidance of India's leading professor of Dravyaguna (nutrition and herbal therapy), Prof. Dr. Tanuja Nesari, at the renowned All India Institute of Ayurveda (AIIA) in Delhi/India. The travel group will be accompanied by Kerstin Rosenberg and will receive daily lessons in theory and practice. Thus the participants deepen their knowledge about the therapeutic application of food, spices and herbs. The knowledge of menu composition and preparation of dietetic food is deepened every day in practical cooking units on Ayurvedic healing cuisine.

The intensive program is designed as an advanced training for Ayurvedic nutritionists, therapists and physicians. The study program includes 6 hours of daily teaching in theory and practice by Prof. Dr. Tanuja Nesari and her team as well as excursions to other Ayurvedic institutions.

On the campus of the European Academy of Ayurveda there are guest houses available. For your overnight stay during the training you can choose from rooms of different categories. Ayurvedic full board from our organic kitchen is included in the room price.

Finally back to India! Since autumn 2021 the entry to India is possible again for tourists and students. Here you will find some important information for your travel preparation for the study trip.

In general, a visa is required for India. Due to the Corona pandemic, travelers are also required to register their arrival online in advance and provide a declaration of their health status.
