In addition, Maganbhai Adenwala Mahagujarat University (MAM), Nadiad offers an academic qualification, i.e. from 2025/2026 you can obtain a postgraduate diploma from this university or even a Master of Science (MSc) in Ayurvedic medicine if you have enrolled in the university's academic program. Hospitations

In order to gain confidence in the practical application of the complex system of Ayurvedic medicine, training on patients is necessary. For this reason, job shadowing is an integral part of the main study program.

13 days in Birstein
(Module EAA 4022)

As an introduction to clinical practice and in order to be able to use Ayurvedic medicine competently in Europe, you will spend at least 13 days in the Rosenberg Ayurveda Health and Spa Center in Birstein.

You will gain intensive practical experience with patients by accompanying our experienced Ayurveda doctors or practitioners in a medical Panchakarma cure. In addition, interns help in the in-house Panchakarma kitchen and learn here how to freshly prepare the preparations used in cures (e.g. teas, doughs, inhalations and decoctions) based on Ayurvedic recipes.

Costs in Birstein
The care and food during the Hospitanz in Birstein are already contained in the training fee. Only the accommodation in the desired category has to be paid.

 

20 days in Nadiad, India
(Module EAA 4052)

The entire scope of Ayurvedic medicine is experienced in the countries of origin, for this reason a 3-week internship with Prof. Dr. S.N. Gupta in Nadiad.

There our students are intensively supervised and supported in their learning process. In this Ayurveda hospital with about 150 beds, patients with different, also severe diseases are treated, so that experiences with Ayurveda medicine on a broad level are possible.

Our Indian partners expect the students to start their internship only at the end of their education.

Costs in Nadiad
The hospitancy in Nadiad costs 200 € per week (as of 2019) and includes simple meals and accommodation in simple 2-bed rooms. Travel expenses and possible excursions are not included.

 

Optional: 7 days in Thrissur, India
For the India hospitalization, a 1-week hospitalization at the Hospital of Ashtavaidyan Prof. Dr. A. N. Narayanan Nambi, Director of the Ashtavaidyan Thrissur Thaikat Mooss' SNA Oushadhasala & Nursing Home in Thrissur, Kerala is offered as a complementary (not mandatory) option.

Testing

After completing the seminars, there is no separate examination.
