More and more children and young people are suffering from chronic illnesses and mental health problems. This worrying trend can largely be attributed to today's lifestyle with an unhealthy diet, lack of exercise and an excess of stress-inducing sensory stimulation. Similarly, in times of global virus outbreaks, the focus is increasingly on prevention and health promotion. It is therefore no wonder that Ayurveda, the traditional medicine of India with its natural and holistic therapeutic approach, is becoming increasingly popular and recognized (also) in paediatrics.

This practice-oriented seminar focuses on the child with all its needs and concerns. The development of childhood illnesses will be examined and discussed from both an Ayurvedic and conventional medical perspective. Practical case studies show the application of individual therapy options in Ayurvedic paediatrics, from herbal and nutritional therapy to massage, yoga and detoxification procedures.

Causes and development of childhood diseases from an Ayurvedic and conventional medical point of view

Léini Siebenaller

Léini Siebenaller is a qualified alternative practitioner, Ayurveda therapist and has completed her studies in Ayurveda medicine at the European Academy of Ayurveda. She runs medical cures at the Rosenberg Ayurveda Kurzentrum. She passes on her many years of practical experience as a lecturer for Ayurvedic massage and curative treatment methods.

This seminar concludes with a learning check in our digital eAcademy platform. With the help of multiple choice questions, you check whether you have achieved the learning objectives of this course. You can complete the learning check up to three times and if you get at least 70% of the answers correct, you have passed.
