You will learn Ayurvedic talk therapy and life coaching with integrated training in spiritual Ayurvedic therapies and discover the true nature of the human being on the basis of Ayurvedic constitutional teachings. While learning techniques for sensitive perception, energy work, meditation and conversation, you will combine self-awareness and psychological counseling skills for your coaching practice.

Learning objectives

The training to become an Ayurvedic psychological counselor is a well-founded and practice-oriented training in applied psychology and counseling according to Ayurvedic tradition. You will gain access to the philosophical and psychological concepts of Ayurveda and receive effective techniques of counseling and therapy to strengthen people
their mental health. Spiritual personality training will support you in your own development process.

As an Ayurvedic psychological consultant, you will learn
- how to coach people according to their type and support them in overcoming stress-related and psychosomatic complaints.
- how to analyze their physical and mental constitution and coach them according to their type.
- how to use professional counselling concepts with Ayurvedic diagnosis, psychological counselling and holistic methods of self-empowerment.
- to recognize the true causes of exhaustion, burnout and depression and to treat them preventively with the help of a mentally strengthening diet and lifestyle.
- to provide sensitive life coaching and support with the help of the psychological and spiritual therapy methods of Ayurveda.

Structure

The training to become an Ayurveda Psychological Counselor comprises 8 training modules and can be completedin two stages:

  1. Specialist course to become an Ayurveda Mental Coach - also possible completely online
  2. Postgraduate course to become a certified Ayurveda Psychological Counselor
    with 4 intensive seminars on Ayurvedic psychology, therapy and self-awareness

Learning checks and exams

During this training, you will demonstrate in the following way that you have internalized the knowledge from this course.

- Learning checks: Each module ends with a learning check to assure you and us that you have achieved the learning objectives. It contains 20 multiple choice questions and must be passed with at least 70%. You can take the learning check a maximum of three times.

- Qualification test: After completing the ABK, ABH, APE and AKO modules, you will be activated on the learning platform for a qualification test as an "Ayurveda Mental Coach". You will be asked 8 multiple choice questions. You have two attempts to answer them correctly. If you pass, you will already have your first certificate in your pocket.

The Ayurveda Mental Coach exam consists of 4 parts.

- Practical case: Case documentation of an anamnesis and counseling interview with a client

- Written final paper on an Ayurveda psychology topic of your choice

- Written final exam (digital) with 50 multiple choice questions, duration: 1.5 hours. The exam is passed with 70% correct answers. Thanks to our online learning database, you can prepare yourself optimally for this day.

- Final oral exam: feedback discussion on your homework and practical case as well as in-depth and interlinked questions on your specialist topic.

The written and oral final exams take place on the same day on one of the official exam dates. You register in advance. You must submit your practical case and your written thesis at least 4 weeks before this date.

The final examination is deemed to have been passed if all parts of the examination have at least been passed. The exam or individual parts of it can be repeated a maximum of 2 times.

Have you done everything? Then you can look forward to receiving your final certificate by post.
