Do you know the difference between "food as food" and "food as medicine"? In our specialist course to become an Ayurveda nutrition coach, you will find concentrated knowledge for your well-founded entry into Ayurvedic nutrition and therapy.

Whether as an intensive course for yourself, as a supplement to your therapeutic work or as a milestone in your new self-employment: under the guidance of Kerstin Rosenberg and her team of lecturers, you will learn how to apply the diversity of Ayurvedic nutritional science and therapy to improve your health in a practical way.

Building on the basics of type-appropriate Ayurvedic nutrition to balance doshas and agni, we will teach you how to use Ayurvedic nutrition as a therapy in lively lectures and with many case studies. You will study the correct selection and preparation of foods for a healthy metabolism and intestines, in Ayurvedic gynecology and to balance stress-related complaints. Use your knowledge and support people on their way to a healthy diet and lifestyle.

Tip: To advise clients on their diet, you can then train to become an Ayurveda nutritionist.

Learning objectives

The Ayurveda nutrition coach course provides you with a sound basis for a professional understanding of Ayurvedic nutrition and dietetics. Not only will you gain comprehensive practical knowledge of the many aspects of Ayurvedic nutrition in everyday life, but you will also learn how to use daily food as a remedy.

By training to become an Ayurveda nutrition coach, you will learn
- how to apply the principles of Ayurveda nutrition in a way that is appropriate to your type and everyday life.
- how to adapt Ayurvedic nutrition and health recommendations to your constitution, digestive power and symptoms.
- to use foods and recipes according to their healing qualities.
- to adapt individual menus and dietary treatment concepts to specific complaints such as food intolerances, digestive problems, stress or women's ailments.
- to guide and carry out Ayurvedic detox and fasting cures.

Structure

Become an Ayurveda nutrition coach with four training modules:

  • Dietetics, cleansing, food science DRK
  • Dietetics, order therapy and herbal recommendations for specific complaints ERT
  • Ayurveda for women and for stress-related complaints AFK

 

The module Ayurveda nutrition: type-appropriate and holistic with Kerstin Rosenberg is theideal introduction to training as an Ayurveda nutrition coach. The internationally renowned Ayurveda expert and book author draws on over 30 years of experience as an Ayurveda nutrition and health consultant to accompany you on your personal and professional Ayurveda path at the European Academy of Ayurveda.

 

Training to become a certified Ayurveda nutrition and health consultant

The training to become a holistic Ayurveda nutrition and health consultant consists of the two specialist courses

  • Ayurveda Health Coach
  • Ayurveda Nutrition Coach

together.

Once you have completed your training as an Ayurveda nutrition coach, you only need to complete the four additional Ayurvedic health coaching modules. Here you will deepen your knowledge of spices and herbs, acquire sound basic knowledge of Ayurvedic medicine and constitution determination and practise Ayurvedic anamnesis, diagnosis and consultation. At the end of the course, you will graduate as a certified Ayurveda nutrition and health consultant.

Learning checks and qualification tests

In this specialist course, you use the digital learning platform to prove that you have internalized the knowledge from this course.

- Learning checks: Each module ends with a learning check to assure you and us that you have achieved the learning objectives. It contains 20 multiple choice questions and must be passed with at least 70%. You can take the learning check a maximum of three times.

- qualification test: Finally, you will be activated for a qualification test on the learning platform. You will be asked 5 multiple choice questions. You have two attempts to answer them correctly.

Once you have successfully passed everything, you have reached your goal: your Ayurveda nutrition coach certificate is ready for you to download from the learning platform.
