With the Ayurveda Mental Coach training you take the first step on your way into psychology and life counseling according to the holistic principles of Ayurveda. You will gain a new understanding of the connections and functions of body, mind and soul. The living knowledge of Ayurvedic psychology will help you to better understand the different constitution types with their changeable and unchangeable personality parts. Based on this, you will fathom the different personality types with their psychological strengths and weaknesses and learn type-appropriate communication techniques that will lead to new insights.

Use the holistic recommendations for a healthy diet and lifestyle, including spices, herbs and relaxation techniques, to strengthen mental health and balance stress-related complaints.

Those who already work in a healing profession or advise others can complement their own range of therapies with holistic approaches Ayurvedic. In addition, the specialized course is a valuable self-awareness that gives impulses for one's own life.

Learning objectives

The specialized course to become an Ayurveda Mental Coach is the basis for holistic counseling and psychological coaching according to the principles of Ayurveda. You will study Ayurvedic medicine with its psychological and spiritual therapeutic approaches in a well-founded and practical way and will be able to advise people in life issues and support them in decision-making processes and in crisis situations.

You will learn

- conversation techniques based on Ayurvedic psychology, which touch the inner self and show new ways.
- strengthen the mental power of your clients to better deal with stress and prevent psychological problems.


Become an Ayurveda Mental Coach with four training modules. You can complete these

  • completely as online study
  • in blended learning with online and face-to-face courses according to your individual choice
  • in lively practical seminars on weekends at all academy locations in Germany, Austria or Switzerland.

Two modules are primarily dedicated to coaching techniques for consulting practice - with many practical exercises, case studies and supervision. These can be attended as live webinars or practical courses on site:

  • Seeing with the Heart - Type Appropriate Ayurvedic Psychology APE.
  • Communication and Coaching for Counseling Practice AKO

In addition, our Ayurveda basic course provides you with a sound knowledge of Ayurveda basics, constitution determination and therapy methods. You can also complete this course in the online training of our eAcademy, completely independent of time and place:

Optional afterwards:
You have the possibility to become a psychological Ayurveda consultant and to seal your qualification with a certificate of the academy. Note on the healing authorization

In order to make diagnoses or apply medical therapies, a medical license as a doctor or non-medical practitioner is required in Germany. You can complete a Heilpraktiker training at the European Academy for Ayurveda. It systematically prepares you for the examination before the health authority.

You can complete the Ayurveda Mental Coach training 100% online.

If you complete 3 modules as eLearning, the training is state-approved by the ZFU. In this case your training is composed as follows:

  • Ayurveda Basic Course Part 2: Constitution and Healing (ABH)

Learning checks and qualification test

In this specialized course, you prove on the digital learning platform that you have internalized the knowledge from this course.

- Learning checks: Each module ends with a learning check to assure you and us that you have achieved the learning objectives. It contains 20 multiple choice questions and must be passed with at least 70%. You can take the learning check a maximum of three times.

- Qualification test: At the end, you will be activated on the learning platform for a qualification test. You will be asked 8 questions: 4 questions about the networked knowledge and application of your coaching training and 4 questions from the learning checks of your training modules. You have two free attempts to answer the questions.

After you have successfully passed everything, you have reached your goal: Your certificate as an Ayurveda Mental Coach is ready for you to download from the learning platform.
