After successfully completing the foundation course, you will now spend intensive days training in the clinical medicine of Ayurveda (kaya-cikitsa). The diagnostic criteria of classical Ayurvedic clinical pictures and the use of comprehensive therapy concepts for treatment are applied here, competently and in accordance with the conditions of the local healthcare system and modern social conditions.

The practical orientation is additionally reinforced by comprehensive internships as integrative components of the training.

How much does the Ayurveda training cost?

Training fee from € 6,390

plus accommodation and meals - only for attendance dates in Birstein

Guest houses are available on the campus of the European Academy of Ayurveda. You can choose from rooms of different categories for your overnight stay during the training. Ayurvedic full board from our organic kitchen is included in the room price.

b) As an option for participants from Germany and Austria, we also offer payment in installments. Work shadowing

In order to gain confidence in the practical application of the complex system of Ayurvedic medicine, training on patients is necessary. For this reason, work shadowing is an integral part of the main course of study.

13 days in Birstein
(Module EAA 4022)

As an introduction to clinical practice and in order to be able to apply Ayurveda medicine competently in Europe, you will spend at least 13 days at the Rosenberg Ayurveda Health and Spa Center Birstein.

You will gain intensive practical experience with patients by accompanying our experienced Ayurveda doctors or practitioners on a medical Panchakarma treatment. In addition, interns help in the in-house Panchakarma kitchen and learn how to freshly prepare the preparations used in cures (e.g. teas, doughs, inhalations and decoctions) based on Ayurvedic recipes.

Costs in Birstein
Support and meals during the internship in Birstein are already included in the training fee. You only have to pay for accommodation in the desired category.

 

20 days in Nadiad, India
(Module EAA 4052)

You will experience the full scope of Ayurvedic medicine in the countries of origin, which is why a 3-week internship with Prof. Dr. S.N. Gupta is offered in Nadiad.

There, our students are intensively supervised and supported in their learning process. In this Ayurveda hospital with approx. 150 beds, patients with a wide variety of illnesses, including serious ones, are treated, so that experience with Ayurveda medicine is possible on a broad level.

Our Indian partners expect students to start their internship at the end of their training.

Costs in Nadiad
The internship in Nadiad costs €200 per week (as of 2019) and includes basic meals and accommodation in simple 2-bed rooms. Travel costs and possible excursions are not included.

 

Optional: 7 days in Thrissur, India
For the India internship, a one-week internship at the hospital of Ashtavaidyan Prof. Dr. A. N. Narayanan Nambi, Director of Ashtavaidyan Thrissur Thaikat Mooss' SNA Oushadhasala & Nursing Home in Thrissur, Kerala, is also available (not obligatory).
