Internships

13 days of Ayurveda medicine in Birstein

An orientation internship at the Rosenberg Ayurveda Health and Spa Center is an integral part of the main course so that you can put your knowledge of the complex system of Ayurvedic medicine acquired during your training to the test in clinical practice. Many of our lecturers have been working there for many years as course leaders or therapists and will be on hand to supervise you.

The internship should enable you to gain practical experience of the tasks, activities and working conditions in the field of Ayurveda medicine. From classic Panchakarma to regeneration or special medical cures: you will experience the effect and implementation of successful cure concepts and learn how to accompany people individually in their clinical Ayurveda therapy process.

Gain in competence

  • Application of Ayurvedic medicine in a professional context
  • Documentation, keeping patient files
  • Assessment of therapy processes and adaptation of therapy strategies
  • Integration of Ayurveda into the modern healthcare system

This gives you the opportunity to work with patients/doctors and alternative practitioners to find out whether working in the field of Ayurvedic medicine meets your expectations, ideas and goals.

Your orientation internship will last approximately 8 hours per day on the days of the course.
Please arrange the dates for your internship individually with us.

Costs: The internship is free of charge and the intensive supervision during the internship in Birstein is already included in the training fee. You only cover the costs for accommodation on site in the category of your choice.

4 days in Europe

As an introduction to outpatient practice and Ayurvedic medicine.
The internship fees in individual outpatient practices, if charged, are not included in the training costs.

Optional (content of part 3):

20 days in Nadiad, India

You will experience the full scope of Ayurvedic medicine in the countries of origin. For this reason, a 3-week internship with Prof. Dr. S.N. Gupta in Nadiad is part of the entire Ayurveda medicine course.

Our students are intensively supervised there and supported in their learning process. In this Ayurveda hospital with approx. 150 beds, patients with a wide variety of illnesses, including serious ones, are treated, so that experience with Ayurveda medicine is possible on a broad level.

Our Indian partners expect students to have a good level of knowledge and therefore only start their internship at the end of their training.

Costs in Nadiad
The internship in Nadiad costs €220 per week (as of 2024) and includes basic meals and accommodation in simple 2-bed rooms. Travel costs and any excursions are not included.

Only valid for eLearning modules: Dates eWorkshops

As part of an eLearning module, you will have the opportunity to put the knowledge you have learned into practice. We have developed the eWorkshop concept for this purpose. Together with your fellow students and your lecturer, you will discuss a specific topic in this live event, do practical exercises or group work on it, and thus gain a deeper insight into the practical application of your Ayurveda knowledge.

In addition to the Interdisciplinary Question Forum (Q & A session), this is your opportunity to exchange ideas with your lecturer and fellow students.

Please note: You only need to attend one session. You will find an indication of when it makes sense to register for the eWorkshop in your eLearning. The eWorkshop is a compulsory part of the module and is required for your course completion.
