Ayurveda Physician MD (Ayu), Professor at J.S. Ayurveda College, Vice Chancellor, Maganbhai Adenwala Mahagujarat University, India

Prof. Shivenarain Gupta MD (Ayu) is a doctor and professor of Ayurvedic medicine from Nadiad (India). He received his doctorate from the famous Ayurveda University of Jamnagar. Today he heads the Department of Internal Medicine at the P. D. Patel Ayurveda Hospital. As a professor of the affiliated J. S. Ayurveda College, he has succeeded in establishing one of the most respected Panchakarma clinics in India, where patients from India and Europe receive help. He has been recognized by IASTAM (India) for his teaching achievements and was appointed Vice Chancellor, Maganbhai Adenwala Mahagujarat University in 2022. At the European Academy of Ayurveda, he has been one of the most important teachers and academic head of training in Ayurvedic medicine for many years.

Prof. Dr. Martin Mittwede, Director of Studies of the Master of Science in Ayurveda Medicine course at the European Academy of Ayurveda. He is an Indologist, religious scientist and psychotherapist. Prof. Dr. Mittwede habilitated in 1996 with a research project on Ayurveda and has many years of experience in medical training. He teaches at the University of Frankfurt/Main and has published numerous works on Ayurvedic medicine. At the European Academy for Ayurveda, he ensures that students are well looked after.

Dr. med. Kalyani Nagersheth is the medical director of the Rosenberg Kur- und Gesundheitszentrum in Birstein and teaches prospective Ayurveda doctors and practitioners as part of the Ayurveda Medicine course at the European Academy of Ayurveda. The experienced Ayurveda doctor has been practising in Frankfurt am Main since 2000. She is a specialist in rehabilitative and physical medicine, with an additional qualification in naturopathy, and is trained in medical psychotherapy. She has also written several books and, as a lecturer, imparts her in-depth knowledge and love of Ayurvedic medicinal plants in an extremely lively way.

Dr. Astrid Gerstemeier holds a doctorate in ecotrophology, is an Ayurvedic nutrition and health consultant (European Academy of Ayurveda), certified nutritionist (VDOE), nutritionist for allergology (DAAB) and coach for holistic personality coaching (Academy for Holistic Leadership). She has been self-employed for over 20 years in her own practice for holistic classical and Ayurvedic nutritional advice and coaching. From 2001-2006 she was also head of the nutrition department at the outpatient neurodermatitis therapy center Schwelmer Modell. In 2010, she founded the Sonnenberg Health Center in Wiesbaden, which she still runs today. In holistic coaching sessions, she supports clients in developing new behaviors to improve their quality of life. Kerstin Rosenberg runs the European Academy for Ayurveda together with her husband. The internationally renowned specialist in Ayurveda and nutrition has been training people in Ayurveda nutrition and health counseling, psychology and therapy throughout Europe since 1996. She has 30 years of Ayurveda practice experience and is in daily contact with trainees and spa guests. She lives her enthusiasm and profession for Ayurvedic cooking as a chef and cooking course instructor at the Birstein Ayurveda Center. As an author, she has published numerous Ayurveda books, some of them bestsellers in Ayurveda literature in German-speaking countries.

Mark Rosenberg heads the European Academy for Ayurveda and is managing partner of the Rosenberg Ayurveda companies. He also holds the office of Chairman of the Board of VEAT - Berufsverband Europäischer Ayurveda-Mediziner und -Therapeuten e.V. He was awarded the prestigious Vaidya Sundarlal Joshi Memorial Management Award by MGMS (India) in recognition of his outstanding management achievements in the field of Ayurveda.
