Prof Dr. Martin Mittwede
Religious scientist, Indologist, Ayurveda specialist

Prof. Dr. Martin Mittwede, Director of Studies of the Master of Science in Ayurveda Medicine course at the European Academy of Ayurveda. He is an Indologist, religious scientist and psychotherapist. Prof. Dr. Mittwede habilitated in 1996 with a research project on Ayurveda and has many years of experience in medical training. He teaches at the University of Frankfurt/Main and has published numerous works on Ayurvedic medicine. At the European Academy for Ayurveda, he ensures that students are well looked after.

Basic studies in Ayurveda medicine

Advanced training for doctors, alternative practitioners and members of other healing professions who want to work professionally with Ayurvedic medicine.

  • You will acquire the basics to integrate Ayurveda into your medical practice - from diagnosis to therapy.

  • The first part of the course concludes with a certificate as a "Medical Ayurveda Specialist".

Advanced studies in Ayurveda medicine

Graduates of the basic course can continue their studies with part 2 in order to treat more complex illnesses with Ayurveda.

  • Comprehensive study of clinical medicine (kaya-cikitsa) with its Ayurvedic diagnostic and therapeutic methods.
  • Integrated internships in India and Europe support the transfer into practice.
  • The goal is the degree "Study of Ayurveda Medicine", recognized by the professional association and analogous to the guidelines of the Ayurveda Dachverband Deutschland.
