Ayurvedic massage: health promotion for children

Children are not just small adults. They 'tick' differently, developing in giant steps from infant to adolescent. It goes without saying that a wide variety of age-typical illnesses or complaints can occur during these phases. And this is exactly what you will learn to take into account in the health recommendations and massage techniques for children (pushikara tirumum).
Ayurvedic oil massages for babies and children are part of daily body care in India and are traditionally performed within the family. In this seminar, you will learn about and apply loving massage techniques for children of different ages.

- The three life cycles in Ayurveda (childhood, midlife, old age) in their
Dosha characteristics
- Phases of physical and mental development from child to
adult
- Nutritional and health recommendations for child planning,
pregnancy, birth and postpartum
- Health-promoting nutritional recommendations for children to promote development
and to compensate for typical children's diseases
(digestive complaints, respiratory diseases, skin complaints,
hyperactivity)
- Determining the constitution (Prakriti) and tendency to illness (Vikriti) of children
- Ayurvedic full-body massage procedures, grips and strokes
Baby massage for infants and toddlers
