Happiness in love and fulfilled sexuality with Ayurveda

How doshas and sensuality can harmonize your love life

Good sex is type-appropriate

The scope and performance of sexual activities are not only determined by the vitality of the body, but also by the individual's constitution. This is formed from the doshas Vata, Pitta or Kapha and shapes the sexual preferences of the individual. Our sexual desires, inclinations and habits are shaped and predisposed differently depending on our individual constitution. If we prefer sexual habits that are unfavorable to our personal constitution, this can deplete our body's energies and vitality.

Vata people, for example, have a slender, delicate physique and a lively, creative and communicative personality. On a sexual level, they react very sensitively to all sensual stimuli, but are rather fickle and easily exhausted. Pitta people, on the other hand, have a lot of fire and strength. This manifests itself in their hot temperament, athletic physique and flushed skin, but also in passionate ardor and ecstasy. Thanks to their charismatic charisma and sexual receptivity, they usually have an extensive and fulfilling sex life. According to Ayurveda, Kapha people have the best sexual performance. Even if these rather sturdily built and phlegmatic people are not the hottest in bed, their fertility and receptivity is excellent and they usually enjoy stable and loving relationships.

Partner analysis from an Ayurvedic perspective

We all love, live and argue differently depending on our personal constitution and the associated character traits and behavioral structures. If we know the preferences and reaction patterns of the constitutional types in relation to love, sexuality and partnership, we can understand ourselves better and choose our dream partner according to our needs. Even a rudimentary knowledge of the constitutional types' behavior patterns is extremely useful for shaping relationships.

The Vata type - love, sex and partnership

The Vata personality attaches great importance to inner harmony and a loving relationship. A depth of soul and a great interest in philosophy, religions, art and music make them an inspiring conversation partner and personal development, education and spiritual desires can be fully expressed. Unfortunately, Vata people are often somewhat clumsy in practical life, unsteady in their disposition, they often miss appointments and are frequently late. They make up for this with generous gifts, entertaining communication and spontaneous surprises. So with a Vata partner at your side, you can always experience surprises that break the daily routine.

The Pitta type - love, sex and partnership

Many Pitta people are extremely successful at work and have a sharp mind, charismatic charisma and good assertiveness. This makes it all the more unsettling for them that human relationships are often an impenetrable mystery whose emotional world is not determined by statistics or performance curves. In interpersonal relationships, the strongly Pitta personality is more of a burden due to its dominance, which makes other people feel patronized. But if you manage to share your life, your business or your bed with a Pitta person, you are guaranteed success, prosperity and adventure. But the price can be high: Those who are always racing through life at full throttle wear out quickly and allow themselves too little time for regeneration and relaxation.

The Kapha type - love, sex and partnership

The kapha-emphasized personality is a loving, loyal and stable partner. They are balanced, patient and love a tranquil private life. Kapha people are excellent amateur cooks, practical DIY enthusiasts and passionate gardeners. They generally feel balanced and content and find joy and fulfillment in the everyday things in life. A Kapha person is a very comfortable person to live with. They are popular, maintain a large circle of friends and support the people around them as partners on their personal journey through life. Sensual pleasures such as good food, comfortable furniture and a well-stocked wine cellar make the kapha personality happy and are a big part of their leisure activities. They don't need adventures and uncertain sensations, but love the familiar and tried and tested.

Sensual bathing ritual

A relaxing oil bath is the most sensual way to enjoy your body and strengthen your sexual powers. Make yourself really comfortable in a quiet and protected atmosphere with candlelight, a scented lamp and beautiful music.

Now start with a gentle body oiling: warm up some almond oil and spread it gently over your partner's skin. Start on the stomach and use the palms of your hands to spread a lot of oil over the stomach, hips, chest, shoulders, arms and hands. Always use enough oil so that the skin is fully wetted and you are enveloped in the warm oil. Now move again from your stomach to your back, hips, buttocks, inner and outer thighs, knees, calves and feet. Pay particular attention to your feet, as they carry a lot of weight and are tucked into tight shoes and socks all day long.

Allow the oil to work on the skin and fill a bath tub with pleasantly hot water while you do so. Add some sea salt or crystal salt to the bath. Lie down in the bath and breathe in and out deeply and relaxed. Feel how your body expands and relaxes in the pleasant warmth. In the bath, massage the oil and salt from your skin by gently rubbing your whole body in the water with your hand or a soft brush in small, gentle circles. Get out of the bath very slowly after about 10 minutes. Use a small, slightly harder towel to dry the body thoroughly and remove the remaining oil from the skin.
