Ayurveda, the knowledge of life to study is an immersion in the holistic aspects of the philosophy, anatomy, physiology and disease theory of traditional medicine of India. Ayurvedic science is not only presented from its classical side of ancient Indian thought, but also in modern form for integration into everyday life.

Using a wealth of examples, basic Ayurvedic knowledge of doshas, dhatus, srotas, agni, malas and other aspects of the terminology is conveyed in a lively manner, always with a practical reference to your own life situation.

The basic course is the basis for further training at the European Academy of Ayurveda. It consists of two parts, "Concepts and Factors of Disease (CBD)" and "Constitution and Healing (CBH)", which provide you with knowledge and orientation for your further path with Ayurveda. 2) Ayurveda Basics: Constitution and Healing

Study the therapeutic approaches of Ayurveda

Ayurveda, the traditional medicine of India, is known for its holistic and individual approach to therapy. To understand this in its diversity and complexity is the goal of this 2nd part of the Ayurveda Basic Course. Complementary to the 1st part of the Basic Course - Concepts and Factors of Disease (ABK) you will now learn the practical approaches and methods of Ayurvedic healing and therapy.

The focus of this seminar is on Ayurvedic treatment methods, which are individually tailored to the constitution with its physical and psychological aspects. By means of a wealth of examples, the seminar establishes the reference to practical everyday questions and situations and provides an orientation for a healthier lifestyle tailored to one's own needs.

You will learn the Ayurvedic constitution determination and receive a sound introduction to the diagnostic procedures and therapeutic methods of Ayurvedic medicine . Also health maintenance measures and the basics of Ayurvedic dietetics and food science are discussed in detail. With this you will gain an overview of the whole building and the ancient Indian science and understand the holistic and individual approach of Ayurvedic therapy methods.
