Ayurveda considers pulse diagnosis as one of the most intensive methods to establish an empathic connection between doctor and patient. This is because with the pulse, the experienced pulse reader can sense the human being in its holistic dimension.
In this sense, Ayurvedic pulse reading is a form of diagnosis as well as a technique for effective communication and profound transformational work. To learn it, you need a lot of practical practice under the guidance of a teacher you trust. Theoretical Ayurvedic knowledge is also important, but the fundamental principle of pulse reading is: "Knowing is not doing - doing is doing!"

Sascha Kriese

Sascha Kriese BA Hons (Ayu) runs his Ayurvedic practice in Brighton and teaches the Ayurvedic healing art in various countries in Europe. He completed a three-year Ayurveda degree at Thames Valley University London and learned the art of pulse reading in India with his mentor Dr. Pankaj Naram. For many years he has run his own Ayurvedic practice in Brighton. He is also co-president of the Ayurvedic Practitioners Association (APA). As a teacher he is gripping and present.
