Integration of Ayurveda into the local practice

Oliver Becker has been practicing Ayurvedic medicine in his own practice for many years. At the European Academy for Ayurveda, he works as a lecturer, module leader, educational coach and interpreter on the Ayurveda medicine course. In addition, he teaches in-depth knowledge from preventive and therapeutic Ayurveda practice in the Ayurveda nutrition and psychology training courses. His main areas of expertise as a lecturer include nutritional therapy, pharmacology and internal Ayurvedic medicine, as well as topics in which his profound knowledge of yoga, Vedic knowledge systems and Sanskrit is applied.

Dr. med. Kalyani Nagersheth is the medical director of the Rosenberg Kur- und Gesundheitszentrum in Birstein and teaches prospective Ayurveda doctors and practitioners as part of the Ayurveda Medicine course at the European Academy of Ayurveda. The experienced Ayurveda doctor has been practising in Frankfurt am Main since 2000. She is a specialist in rehabilitative and physical medicine, with an additional qualification in naturopathy, and is trained in medical psychotherapy. She has also written several books and, as a lecturer, imparts her in-depth knowledge and love of Ayurvedic medicinal plants in an extremely lively way.

Alkje Schütze is a pharmacist and alternative practitioner. Her practice focuses on integrative cancer medicine, for which she has completed additional training. She has also successfully completed her advanced studies in Ayurvedic medicine at the European Academy of Ayurveda and runs Pancakarma treatments at the Rosenberg Health and Spa Center in Birstein.
