Federal training courses in Switzerland

Ayurveda therapy and Ayurveda medicine

The European Academy of Ayurveda introduced its Ayurveda training courses in Switzerland in 1999 - with extraordinary success. In cooperation with the Heilpraktikerschule Luzern, it has been opening the way to federal diplomas for its students since 2015, in the usual quality and in specially built Ayurveda rooms. The REAA is responsible for the entire Ayurveda teaching (method) and the Heilpraktikerschule Luzern for administration and infrastructure, as well as for the content of traditional medicine and practice subjects.

Complementary therapy in Ayurveda therapy (federal diploma)

This professional training is aimed at people who would like to work in the future as independent complementary therapists or want to complement their traditional profession with Ayurveda therapy professionally. You will acquire comprehensive knowledge in the areas of Ayurvedic nutrition, massage and Ayurvedic counselling skills, combined with intensive practical training. With the help of these methods, you will accompany and support your clients with chronic and acute complaints as well as with emotional and psychological issues.

Graduation: Federal diploma

The REAA/HPS cooperation is the first institution in Switzerland to be state-approved by the OdA for this training course. The final certificate gives access to the federal diploma "Complementary Therapist".

Orthodox medicine and methodology

Supplement: WestMed = basic training in orthodox medicine. Naturopaths with a federal diploma are official first-stage health care providers. For this you need good school-medical competences, which include 195 hrs as a complementary therapist for Ayurveda therapy (KT).

An essential part of the federal diploma are further modules of the OdA AM: for example "Health Understanding & Ethics", "Interaction & Communication" and "Practice Management & QM". Here, the focus is on the skills and competences that are important for therapists, regardless of the method.

Flexible learning

The training is modular and can be booked part-time or as a full-time course.

Course of studies: Naturopath in Ayurvedic Medicine (federal diploma)

This practical course of study leads you to the new profession of "Swiss Certified Naturopath - Ayurvedic Medicine". It is aimed at all those who would like to apply Ayurvedic medicine at the highest level. You will acquire extensive skills in Ayurvedic diagnosis and healing using the tools of Ayurvedic manual and nutritional therapy, Ayurvedic rhythm therapy and the Panchakarma cleansing and purification procedures. In addition to classical naturopathic practice, you will also learn, for example, how to treat chronic illnesses within the framework of cures, all of which will be individually tailored to your patients' constitutions.
