Abhyanga and Kalari - Ayurveda full body massage

Seminar series

1) Kalari full body massage

Awaken the dynamic power of the body

The Kalari Marma massage is a dynamic form of massage from South India and is used to therapeutically balance energetic blockages and to strengthen and mobilize the musculoskeletal system. Blocked marmas (vital points) can "open up" again and blocked nadis (energy channels) become more permeable. The Kalari massage leads to release processes on all levels of the tissue structures and thus to a profound cleansing and harmonization of all body circuits.

This 3-day intensive course teaches the Kalari massage from the South Indian tradition of Kalari Payattu in its Western form of application. It is the basic treatment for other forms of therapy from the Mama Nadi tradition (see seminars on Marma therapy).

No prior knowledge is required. Basic knowledge of Ayurvedic constitutional theory is helpful.

2) Abhyanga full body massage

The art of Ayurvedic massage with heart and hand

The Ayurvedic full-body oil massage Abhyanga is an experience - warm oil flows over your skin and expert hands massage you in a sensitive, energizing and touching way. Abhyanga is also known as the 'queen of oil massages' for good reason and is the most important and most frequently practised massage treatment in an Ayurveda cure.

Learn how to apply the Ayurvedic full-body Abhyanga massage in a holistic and professional manner. Under supervised guidance, you will learn the comprehensive treatment process with various strokes, massage techniques and procedures. Detailed explanations and exercises provide you with in-depth practical knowledge about Abhyanga in its constitutional application and holistic effect on body, mind and soul.

The three-day intensive Abhyanga course is the ideal introduction to Ayurvedic massage and therapy training and teaches the Ayurvedic full-body oil massage as an individual wellness application for deep regeneration, health strengthening and therapy.
