Study trip: Ayurveda Nutritional Therapy in India - Food as Medicine

Study Ayurveda at universities in the country of origin

The study tour on Ayurveda dietetics and phytotherapy was developed by Kerstin Rosenberg in collaboration with the leading Ayurveda luminary Prof. Dr. Tanuja Nesari, now Director of the Institute of Teaching and Research in Ayurveda ITRA (an Institute of National Importance) in Jamnagar (India).

The tour group is accompanied by Kerstin Rosenberg and receives daily lessons in theory and practice (qualified translation), enabling participants to deepen their knowledge of the therapeutic use of foods, spices and herbs. The knowledge of menu composition and preparation of dietary dishes is deepened every day in practical cooking units on Ayurvedic healing cuisine.

The intensive program is designed as advanced training for Ayurveda nutritionists, therapists and physicians. The study program includes at least 6 hours of daily classes, practical sessions and excursions with selected Ayurveda specialists and professors.
