Ayurveda massage and wellbeing practice

Module 2 of the training in Ayurveda wellness practice enables you to perform traditional massage and oil applications authentically. Demonstrations and practical exercises clearly show you how to apply Ayurvedic massage techniques precisely, sensitively and according to type. You will also acquire in-depth knowledge of Ayurvedic medicine and constitutional theory.

Please note that attending the massage module alone does not entitle you to practise a trade in Austria.

How is the training structured?

The recognized further training in Ayurveda wellness practice lasts a total of 3 years and comprises 765 hours of training and an internship.

Contents Module 2
In this module, you will develop the ability to perform traditional massage and oil applications with your hands and heart. A variety of demonstrations and practical exercises with corrections will show you how to apply Ayurvedic massage techniques precisely, sensitively and according to type. You will also acquire in-depth knowledge of the philosophy, medicine and constitutional teachings of Ayurveda, which will give you a holistic understanding of the applications.

The massage module can also be booked in a modified form for newcomers with no previous knowledge of Ayurveda. The training then corresponds to the Birstein model. Please note that attending the massage module alone does not entitle you to practise a trade in Austria. In this case, you can only use your Ayurvedic massage skills privately, unless you are authorized to practice massage as a member of a health profession.

The intermediate examination includes a practical and a theoretical part.
