Mental Coaching, Practice and Success Strategies

In this module you will complement your already acquired Ayurvedic skills with knowledge in Ayurvedic counseling techniques and diagnosis. You will also learn strategies for successful practice management.

Please note that in order to practice in Austria, you must attend modules 1 and 2 and meet other requirements.

Structure

The recognized further training in Ayurveda wellness practice lasts a total of 3 years and includes 765 hours of training and a hospitancy.

Module 3 "Mental Coaching, practice and success strategies"
Coaching, success strategies, practice management + 100 hours of e-learning (traditional medicine supplement)
15 training days - Seminar location: Mandalahof, Fleischmarkt 16, 1010 Vienna.

The modular training structure allows a flexible training schedule, adapted to the life situation and time possibilities of the participant. We are happy to advise you!

Contents Module 3
This module complements your already acquired Ayurveda skills with knowledge of Ayurvedic psychology and diagnosis. You will also learn strategies for successful practice management.

People without previous medical knowledge will additionally participate in an external e-learning course. In addition to the 40 hours already integrated in the modules, this course provides you with a further 100 hours of basic medical knowledge, making a total of 140 hours.
The online course is offered in cooperation with our partner EPWA.

Exam
The final exam includes a practice case documentation, a written exam and a supervised project presentation.
To be eligible to take the exam, the following must be demonstrated:

  • a 50 hour internship at the Rosenberg Ayurveda Kurzentrum or another recognized Ayurveda practitioner or hotel.
  • at least 140 hours of anatomy, physiology, hygiene, emergency with completed examination

Trade license
In order to subsequently obtain the restricted trade license Ayurveda wellness practice, module 1 and 2 must also be attended and the following requirements must be met:

  • complete attendance of all training modules
  • a passed final examination
  • 50 supervised applications during the massage module
  • independent documentation of 100 applications
  • first aid certificate, not older than 5 years

Seeing with the heart - Ayurvedic psychology according to type


  • Personality structures of the physical and mental constitutional types
  • Type-appropriate reaction patterns and blockages
  • Seeing with the heart - energy work and solution approaches in working with the body sheaths (koshas)
  • Approaches of traditional Ayurvedic psychotherapy based on mental needs and causes of illness (Dharma, Artha, Kama, Mosksha)
  • Nutritional recommendations and strengthening measures for mental stability
  • Practice of type-appropriate Ayurveda coaching



Communication and coaching for Ayurvedic counseling practice
- Strengthening the counselor personality and self-reflection
- Models of talk therapy for Ayurvedic coaching practice
- Communication and questioning techniques according to the principles of Ayurvedic psychology
- Ayurvedic coaching according to type, to transform weaknesses into strengths
- Distance and closeness in holistic work with clients

- Use of creative media and spiritual techniques in a counseling context

Practical techniques of anamnesis, diagnosis and therapy planning
You will be able to
- take an anamnesis with all aspects independently and attentively
- determine the basic Ayurvedic constitution (prakriti) and the mental-spiritual constitution (sattva)
- carry out the Ayurvedic examinations (rogi pariksha), i.e. the three-, eight- and six-part examinations (rogi pariksha).i.e. to carry out the three-, eight- and ten-fold diagnosis safely. incl. pulse and tongue diagnosis
- recognize the Ayurvedic pathophysiological disorders (vikriti)
- apply the Ayurvedic principles and proceed systematically

If the training starts with eAcademy modules, the activation is provisionally carried out immediately after receipt of the down payment, regularly after receipt of the first monthly installment.
