Do you know the difference between "food as food" and "food as medicine"? In our specialized course to become an Ayurvedic nutrition coach you will find concentrated knowledge for your well-founded entry into Ayurvedic nutrition and therapy.

Whether as an intensive study for yourself, as a supplement to your therapeutic work or as a milestone in a new self-employment: Under the guidance of Kerstin Rosenberg and her team of lecturers you will learn to apply the diversity of Ayurvedic nutrition and therapy to strengthen your health in a practical way.

Based on the basics of Ayurvedic nutrition for balancing Doshas and Agni, we will teach you in lively lectures and with many case studies the application of Ayurvedic nutrition as a therapy. You will study the correct selection and preparation of food for a healthy metabolism and intestines, in Ayurvedic gynaecology and for balancing stress-related complaints. Use your knowledge and support people on their way to a healthy diet and lifestyle.

Tip: In order to provide clients with dietary advice, you can then take part in further training to become an Ayurvedic nutritionist.

Learning objectives

The Ayurveda Nutrition Coach course provides you with a solid foundation for a professional understanding of Ayurvedic nutrition and dietetics. You will not only gain comprehensive practical knowledge about the many aspects of Ayurvedic nutrition in everyday life, but you will also know how to use daily food as a remedy.

With the training as an Ayurveda nutrition coach you will learn
- how to apply the principles of Ayurveda nutrition in a way that is appropriate for your type and everyday life.
- to adapt Ayurvedic nutrition and health recommendations to the constitution, digestive power and symptoms.
- to use food and recipes according to their healing qualities.
- to adjust individual food plans and dietary treatment concepts to specific complaints such as food intolerances, digestive problems, stress or women's complaints.
- to guide and carry out Ayurvedic detox and fasting cures.

With four training modules you will become an Ayurveda nutrition coach:

  • Dietetics, cleansing, food science DRK
  • Dietetics, order therapy and herbal recommendations for specific complaints ERT
  • Ayurveda for women and for stress-related complaints AFK

 

Theoptimal introduction to the training as an Ayurveda nutrition coach is the module Ayurveda nutrition: true to type and holistic with Kerstin Rosenberg. The internationally renowned Ayurveda expert and book author draws on more than 30 years of experience as an Ayurveda nutrition and health consultant and thus accompanies you on your personal and professional Ayurveda path at the European Academy of Ayurveda.

 

Training to become a certified Ayurveda nutrition and health advisor

The training to become a holistic Ayurveda Nutrition and Health Consultant consists of the two specialized courses

  • Ayurveda Health Coach
  • Ayurveda Nutrition Coach

together.

Once you have completed your training as an Ayurveda Nutrition Coach, you only need to complete the four further modules of Ayurvedic Health Coaching. Here you will deepen your knowledge of spices and herbs, acquire sound basic knowledge of Ayurvedic medicine and constitutional determination, and practice Ayurvedic anamnesis, diagnosis and consultation. At the end of the course, you will graduate as a certified Ayurvedic nutrition and health advisor.

Ayurvedic nutrition according to type
- general rules of Ayurvedic nutrition, based on 8 factors of nutrition, 4 forms, 12 food groups
- individual adjustment of nutrition to constitution, metabolism, seasons, daily rhythm, age and psyche
- recommendations for balancing Dosha and for strengthening Agni
- design Ayurvedic menus and menus according to the chronobiological bio-clock

dietetics, cleansing, food science
- individual nutritional concepts and diets for balancing physical and mental complaints
- food science: Properties, effects and therapeutic use of healing foods, preparation of dietary plans
- type-specific use of Ayurvedic detox and fasting forms, Panchakarma diet and healing recipes (Manda, Peya, Vilepi, Kichari)

Ayurveda for women and stress-related complaints
- Ayurvedic women's medicine: Recommendations for Menstrual and Menopausal Complaints, Women's Ailments and Pregnancy and Childbirth
- Use of Ayurvedic Herbs, Remedies and Special Diets
- Ayurveda for Stress: Dietetics and prevention of stress-related complaints such as nervousness or sleep disorders

Nutrition as therapy

Guest houses are available on the campus of the European Academy of Ayurveda. For your overnight stay during the training you can choose from rooms of different categories. Ayurvedic full board from our organic kitchen is included in the room price.

a) In one sum at the latest one month before the start of the training (for eAcademy modules immediately, otherwise at the latest one month before the booked start of the training).
b) Monthly instalments of 250 EUR each by direct debit. The payment (debiting) of the monthly instalments takes place on the 1st of the month, starting from the month of the booked beginning of the training, in case of eAcademy modules immediately. If the training begins with modules of the eAcademy, the activation takes place provisionally immediately after receipt of the deposit, regularly then after receipt of the first monthly installment.
