Start your path to becoming an Ayurvedic therapist. The Ayurvedic Massage Practitioner training enables you to apply Ayurvedic massages in combination with holistic health coaching. In an authentic and practical way you will learn the techniques and procedures of Ayurvedic massages from professional therapists.

Experience the inner fulfillment of healing touch with warm oil and feel yourself into the sensual world of Ayurveda. With clear explanations and demonstrations, lots of practice, correction and supervision, you will learn how to massage Ayurvedically - authentically, sensitively and competently.

Learning objectives

The Ayurvedic Massage Practitioner training combines intensive hands-on training of Ayurvedic massage techniques with in-depth Ayurvedic knowledge and health coaching. The focus is on the professional application of individual massage therapies for high quality spa and health treatments.

You will learn
- the application of Ayurvedic massage and treatment techniques precisely and with great sensitivity.
- to adapt Ayurvedic full body massages and partial body treatments to the needs of different constitution types.
- to select massage oils and herbal powders according to your type and to adjust them individually to your clients.
- to perform Ayurvedic massages professionally and independently - from room preparation to aftercare of your clients.
- to advise and treat your clients individually with Ayurvedic massages, health recommendations and spices.

Structure

The Ayurveda training as a massage practitioner includes a total of eight 3-day training modules and is divided into two sections:

1. specialized course Ayurveda Wellness Practitioner
Ayurvedic massage from head to toe and for every constitution (12 days).

  • Kalari full body massage KAL
  • Partial body massages of foot, hand and face with hand shirodhara AFM
  • Ayurvedic back and dry massage AGR

2nd Specialized Course Ayurveda Health Coach
Profound Ayurveda knowledge, spice knowledge and consulting competence for the holistic Ayurveda practice - also possible as online training (12 days)

  • Ayurveda basic course - concepts and disease factors ABK
  • Ayurveda Basic Course - Constitution and Healing ABH
  • Spices, Herbology, Home Pharmacy APH
  • Anamnesis, diagnostic techniques and consultation practice with case studies AUH

Afterwards you can expand your knowledge and field of activity with the postgraduate course to become an Ayurveda therapist . Deepening techniques of marma and manual therapy enable therapeutic applications for outpatient, clinical and curative Ayurveda practice.

Learning checks and examination

In this training, you demonstrate that you have internalized the knowledge from this course in the following ways.

- Learning checks: Each module ends with a learning check to assure you and us that you have achieved the learning objectives. It contains 20 multiple choice questions and must be passed with at least 70%. You can take the learning check a maximum of three times.

- 2 qualification tests: After completion of 4 modules each, you will be activated on the learning platform for a qualification test as "Ayurveda Health Coach" or "Ayurveda Wellness Practitioner". You will be asked 8 multiple choice questions. You have two attempts to answer them correctly. If you pass, you already have your first certificates in your pocket.

The Ayurveda Massage Practitioner exam consists of 3 parts.

- Practical case: anamnesis and constitution determination, therapy planning as well as massage and treatment protocols of 3 treatments with supplementary health recommendations

- Written final exam (digital) on a previously scheduled exam day with 50 multiple choice questions, duration: 1.5 hours. With 70% correct answers, you pass the exam. Thanks to our online learning database, you can prepare for it in the best possible way.

- Practical final exam: Demonstration of a 45-minute Ayurvedic massage including pre- and post-treatment

The written and practical final exams take place on the same day at one of the official exam dates. You register in advance. At the latest 4 weeks before this date you submit your practical cases.

The final examination is considered to have been passed if all parts of the examination have been passed at least. The exam or individual parts of it can be repeated a maximum of 2 times.

Have you done it all? Then you can look forward to your final certificate, which we will send to you by mail.
